Die Bibliographie Pädagogik erscheint seit 1967 und weist jährlich zwischen 13.000 und 16.000 Literaturtitel zu allen bildungsrelevanten Themenfeldern nach. Besondere thematische Schwerpunkte sind: Allgemeine Erziehungswissenschaften und Bildungsforschung, Schulwesen, Erwachsenen- / Weiterbildung, Internationales Bildungssystem, Fachliteratur aus Österreich.
Die Titeleinträge sind nach einer differenzierten Fachsystematik angeordnet. Darüberhinaus werden sie durch folgende vier Register weitgehend erschlossen: Personenregister, Institutionenregister, Schlagwortregister, Topographisches Register. Dabei ist die detaillierte inhaltliche Erschließung durch Schlagworte von besonderer Bedeutung. Diese fachlich kompetente Sacherschließung wird möglich, weil die Daten der Bibliographie Pädagogik aus den Zulieferungen der wichtigsten Forschungs- und Dokumentationseinrichtungen im Bildungsbereich zusammengestellt werden.
Ab Jahrgang 1991 erscheinen die Reihen A und B in einem Band und die Register davon getrennt in einem zweiten Band.
The Educational Bibliography has been published since 1967. The bibliography indicates an annual amount of 13,000 to 16,000 literature references pertaining to all educational subjects.
Particular thematic emphases: General Theory of Education and Research on Education, Educational System, Adult- and Further Education, International Educational Systems, Special Literature from Austria.
The title entries are arranged in accordance with an differentiated special classification system. Furthermore they are made accessible by the following four indexes: index of persons, institution index, subject index, topographical index.
Thereby the detailed accessibility to the content through the subject index is of particular importance. This competent subject accessibility is possible, because the data of the Educational Bibliography is compiled from the issues of the most important research and documentation institutions in the educational area.
Beginning with volume 1991 the series A and series B are published together in one volume and the indexes in a second volume.
